Lidia Spitz

Substitute Professor of Private International Law at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Lidia Spitz is recognized for being an expert in the areas of international law and arbitration.  Her publications include the book “Recognition of Foreign Judgments in Brazil – 2019 Hague Judgments Convention and the indirect control of foreign jurisdiction”. Lidia Spitz was a member of the Brazilian Delegation to the 22nd Diplomatic Session on the Judgments Project (adoption of the 2019 Judgments Convention) at the Hague Conference on Private International Law. Full Member of STEP – Advising Families Across Generations. Member of ASADIP – American Association of Private International Law. Associate of ILA – International Law Association, Brazilian Branch.
